Terms and Conditions

Updated on 15 October 2026

Before placing an order, we have summarized the key points of our terms of service for your convenience:

  • Deposit: A 30% down payment is required for every order.
  • Minimum Order: We accept projects starting from a minimum value of €25.
  • B2B Payment: Business clients have a payment term of 14 days.
  • Rights: You retain all rights to your provided models; we assume no liability for the end-use of the printed parts.

1. Scope and Conclusion of Contract

These Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts between Choanaevo GmbH (Mariahilfer Straße 142, 1070 Wien, represented by Managing Director Barbara Huber, share capital €20,000) and its clients. A binding contract is formed when the client submits a formal order via the contact form or by email to [email protected], and Choanaevo confirms this request within the response time defined in our business rules.

2. Services and Ordering Process

Choanaevo provides professional services in 3D printing (FDM, SLA), 3D modeling, and 3D scanning. The client is responsible for providing printable files. Dimensional accuracy is based on a tolerance of 0.2 mm. For detailed instructions on file preparation, please refer to our guide at How to Prepare Your Model for Printing.

3. Prices, Taxes, and Payment

All prices listed on the website include the statutory VAT of 20%. The minimum order value is €25. To initiate production, a deposit of 30% of the total amount is required.

For B2B clients, a payment term of 14 days from the date of invoice applies. Payments are made via bank transfer or other agreed methods. Further details regarding data processing can be found in our Privacy Policy.

4. Lead Times and Urgency

The regular processing time is typically 5 days starting from the receipt of the deposit and the final print files. For express orders, a surcharge of 50% is applied to the standard price. Lead times are provided as guidelines and do not constitute a guaranteed delivery date.

5. Amendments, Cancellation, and Right of Withdrawal

Changes to the model after production has started are only possible subject to additional charges. In accordance with the Fern- und Auswärtsgeschäfte-Gesetz (FAGG), the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods manufactured to the customer's specifications (customized 3D prints). Cancellations made before production begins will result in a refund of the deposit minus processing fees.

6. Ownership Rights and Usage Restrictions

Copyrights to the files submitted by the client remain with the client. Choanaevo undertakes to treat these files confidentially. We strictly refuse the production of weapons or their components, medical implants, or certified aerospace and automotive parts. The use of protected third-party trademarks without the consent of the rights holder is prohibited.

7. Liability and Warranty

Choanaevo is liable for the correct execution of the order according to the technical specifications. Liability for the suitability of the printed parts for a specific purpose or for damages resulting from the incorrect application of the components is excluded. Liability is governed by the legal provisions of the Konsumentenschutzgesetz (KSchG).

8. Final Provisions and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Austria. Should any individual provision be invalid, the remainder of the contract shall remain unaffected. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes is Wien. For complaints regarding data protection, consumers may contact the Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde (DSB), Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Wien (see Privacy Policy).
