Choanaevo GmbH is committed to ensuring that its digital content is accessible to all individuals, regardless of their physical or technical capabilities. We align our development process with the requirements of the European Accessibility Act and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA.

1. Compliance Status

The Choanaevo website (choanaevo.click) is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2, Level AA. We have optimized the majority of our site architecture to provide a barrier-free experience. This assessment is based on our internal auditing processes and the application of industry-standard accessibility testing tools.

2. Implemented Measures

To enhance usability and inclusivity, we have integrated the following technical solutions:

  • Keyboard Accessibility: All interactive elements, including the main menu and the forms on the Contact page, are fully accessible via the Tab key.
  • Skip-Links: A hidden skip-link is provided at the start of each page, allowing users to bypass navigation and jump directly to the main content.
  • Contrast and Color: Our color palette is designed to meet WCAG AA requirements for contrast ratios between text and background.
  • Semantic Structure: We maintain a strict heading hierarchy (H1-H4) and utilize correct ARIA attributes to assist screen reader users in orientation.
  • Reduced Motion: The prefers-reduced-motion CSS media query is implemented to disable animations for users with corresponding system settings.
  • Alternative Text: All functional images include descriptive alt-text to convey the purpose of the visual.

3. Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some areas are still being optimized. Specifically, complex data tables in our pricing hub on the Services page may present navigation challenges for very old screen reader versions. We are currently refining our table structures to further increase readability. According to our Terms and Conditions, our digital services are intended as supplementary information.

If you are not satisfied with our response to your feedback, you may contact the competent supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde (DSB), Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Wien (www.dsb.gv.at). For legal disputes, the place of jurisdiction is the court of Wien.
